THE OPPORTUNITY
An opportunity to become a regional finance leader within a fast-growing Private Equity-backed residential services platform.
The mandate is bigger than simply managing regional accounting. It is about building the finance infrastructure for a newly created region, partnering closely with operational leadership, improving reporting processes, and supporting acquisition integration as the portfolio company scales.
The portfolio company is well capitalised, highly acquisitive, and moving toward a significantly larger revenue base through organic growth and additional acquisitions. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a collaborative finance function, take ownership of a high-priority region, and help create the systems, reporting cadence, and team structure needed for the next phase of growth.
This is not a narrow reporting role. It is the opportunity to become a trusted finance business partner to operational leaders while helping a high-growth platform professionalise and integrate newly acquired locations.
THE COMPANY
A Private Equity-backed residential services platform with a strong growth agenda and a current revenue base of $170M+. The portfolio company is actively pursuing additional acquisitions and is targeting continued expansion toward a much larger platform by 2027.
The region includes an established branch alongside newly acquired locations. The role will support multiple operating locations and will be part of a wider regional controller structure across the business.
The portfolio company uses integrated operational, accounting, financial reporting, planning, and analytics tools to support decision making. A new reporting and planning application is being implemented to strengthen reporting, improve visibility, and create better connectivity between finance and operations.
The finance culture is collaborative, technology-enabled, and communication-led. The leadership team values open communication, high standards, servant leadership, and practical decision making.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Success in this role is about bringing structure, visibility, and trust to a region that is scaling quickly.
Over the first 12–24 months, success will look like:
Establishing strong financial reporting processes across the region
Improving the quality, speed, and usefulness of reporting for operational leaders
Successfully supporting the implementation of a new reporting and planning tool
Integrating newly acquired locations into the portfolio company’s finance processes
Building strong relationships with operations, finance, and P&L leaders
Creating a finance team structure that can support continued regional growth
Developing a clear rhythm for communication, accountability, and decision support
Helping the region become fully embedded within the wider platform
Longer term, success means becoming a trusted regional finance leader who can support future acquisitions, continue to build scalable finance processes, and potentially progress as the platform grows.
IDEAL BACKGROUND
Your background will include:
6–8+ years of experience within a finance or accounting function
An accounting background, ideally with public accounting or larger-firm experience
Strong financial reporting discipline and a practical understanding of month-end close
Experience partnering with operations and P&L leaders
Exposure to systems implementation, process improvement, or integration work
Experience in a residential services, field services, or multi-site operating environment would be beneficial
Private Equity-backed or high-growth business experience would be beneficial
Regional controller experience is not essential; the portfolio company is open to a rising finance leader ready to step up
The successful candidate will be humble, hungry, and smart. They will bring a servant leadership mindset, lead from the front, see finance as a customer-focused service to operations, and have the energy, drive, and ambition to grow with the business.
LOCATION
Jacksonville, Florida, USA
The successful candidate will need to be based in Jacksonville. Relocation support is available for the right candidate.
COMPENSATION
Base salary: $160,000 – $185,000
Bonus: 20%, driven by company performance and individual goals
Equity: Incentive equity
