Based in the Scottsdale/Phoenix metropolitan area, the business offers a tiered product line and serves homeowners, architects, and home builders. Acquired in 2021, the company now seeks a transformative leader to drive recovery, cultural change, and renewed customer focus. The parent group includes several related residential and commercial glass service businesses.

THE PRIVATE EQUITY FIRM

The private equity sponsor, headquartered in Texas, invests across services, healthcare, distribution, manufacturing, and tech-enabled businesses. The firm focuses on buy-and-build strategies and targets companies with $2M–$10M in EBITDA. With over 100 years of collective experience, the firm emphasizes operational autonomy and strategic growth. Engagement with portfolio executives is centered on high-level support via weekly KPI reviews and quarterly meetings.

THE CULTURE

The culture requires a shift toward proactive customer service and accountability. The new leader must instill a white-glove service mindset, rebuild trust, and reinforce team collaboration. The current environment involves individuals covering for others, and customer engagement has suffered. A stronger focus on performance, coaching, and clear communication is essential.

THE ROLE

The day-to-day role for this position will include the following tasks:

  • Full P&L oversight and leadership of daily operations.
  • Implementing strategic sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Driving a cultural transformation to boost customer engagement and team accountability.
  • Leading and coaching a 15-person team with a hands-on leadership style.
  • Reporting to the Group GM while maintaining autonomy.

  • Strong digital reputation with a consistent 4.5-star rating.
  • Serves an affluent clientele in a wealthy metropolitan market.

KEY CHALLENGES FOR THE ROLE

  • Rebuilding the company’s online presence and SEO strategy.
  • Addressing incomplete project deliveries and improving service follow-through.
  • Leading a significant cultural transformation.
  • Stabilizing financial performance and reversing recent declines.

 

YOUR BACKGROUND

The successful individual will be able to demonstrate experience in the following:

  • At least 7 years in high-end construction, building products, or luxury home services.
  • Experience in windows and doors, with a strong understanding of luxury clientele.
  • Sales leadership and customer engagement experience.
  • AZROC license or willingness to obtain one.
  • Not required to have prior PE-backed or GM-level experience, but must show potential to lead.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

Basic Salary: $125,000

Bonus: 20%

Equity: None

401k: Included

Healthcare: Fully covered medical, dental & vision

Other: $5,000/month AZROC license stipend
