THE ROLE

The day-to-day responsibilities for this position will include:

·        Driving outside sales efforts to win new business.

·        Building and maintaining relationships with key customers in industrial, medical, aerospace, and marine sectors.

·        Identifying potential clients and developing strategies to secure long-term contracts.

·        Collaborating with engineering and production teams to ensure alignment between customer needs and manufacturing capabilities.

·        Traveling for client meetings and industry events while maintaining a presence at the office to build relationships with internal teams.

YOUR BACKGROUND

The successful individual will be able to demonstrate experience in the following:        

·        Business development and outside sales in a manufacturing environment.

·        Selling metal products, CNC machining, and welding services.

·        Working with aerospace, defense, medical, and marine industries (preferred).

·        Existing customer relationships within relevant industries.

·        Technical sales expertise, including the ability to read CNC prints and communicate effectively with engineers.

LOCATION

·        Ideally based near Pittsburgh to maintain proximity to the company’s operations.

·        Role involves frequent outside sales travel, with some in-office days to collaborate with internal teams.


COMPENSATION PACKAGE

Basic Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 (OTE: $200K)

Bonus Package: Commission-based structure with a higher percentage on new business vs. repeat business
