THE ROLE

The Finance Manager will be responsible for building structure into the finance function and owning the day-to-day accounting operations, enabling the CFO to focus on strategy. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing daily accounting tasks including journal and bank postings, reconciliations, and ledger management.
  • Preparing detailed monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow).
  • Managing state sales tax filings and coordinating with auditors for quarterly and annual reviews.
  • Supporting ERP implementation and process improvements across finance.
  • Leading inventory reconciliation and contributing to cost and variance analysis.
  • Acting as a finance partner to operational teams, ensuring cross-functional alignment.
  • Maintaining accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline; CPA/MBA preferred.
  • 5–10 years’ progressive finance and accounting experience in manufacturing, pharma, or dietary supplements.
  • Proven experience managing general ledger, reconciliations, audits, and compliance.
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling capability; exposure to ERP systems desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage inventory accounting and cost analysis.
  • Interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally in a small-team environment.

COMPENSATION

  • Base salary: $100,000 – $110,000
